Christmas Dinner

The annual OMRS HK Christmas Dinner for 2010 was held on Friday 10 December in the Senior Officers Mess at the Hong Kong Police Headquarters.

A profit in the region of $900 for branch funds was made, with the lucky draw raising $1600 to subsidise the evening to a degree. The original estimate of breaking even with the dinner receipts at $300 per head was derailed by the unexpectedly large amount of wine consumed – 21 bottles = over one bottle per attendee – but then everyone seemed to have fun. Many thanks to those who contributed prizes for the lucky draw and to our President who, in addition to donating the First Prize, donated the port for the evening.

Photographs of the occasion can be seen here.
