October Event: The Honourable Artillery Company

The October meeting with be held on Weds 26th October at the Police Officers Club at which member John Leighton will give a talk titled 'The Honourable Artillery Company' covering the roles and history of his former regiment, the oldest in the British Army.  The wide-ranging talk will be accompanied by slides and videos, covering the HAC's development from a militia force at the time of Henry VIII to its recent operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

 

      We will meet in the bar as usual at 7:30pm for a 8:00pm start.   Visitors are very welcome, but are asked to contact the Secretary in advance at secretary@omrs-hk.org. A nominal fee will be charged to cover incidental costs, such as room hire.
